Our Mission

At NeuroLearn Consulting, our mission is simple: to empower neurodiverse learners with the tools, strategies, and confidence they need to thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally.
We believe that every child can succeed when instruction is tailored to their unique learning profile. Our goal is to bridge the gap between what students are experiencing at school and what they need to be successful—through personalized coaching, evidence-based intervention, and compassionate support for both students and families.

Our Passion

I founded NeuroLearn Consulting because I saw a need: children with learning disabilities often receive support at school, but rarely receive the explicit teaching in how to learn with a disability.
My passion is helping students understand their brains, embrace their strengths, and master strategies that make learning finally “click.” I love watching students develop confidence, independence, and pride as they discover that they are capable, that their brain is powerful, and that success is absolutely within their reach.

I am equally passionate about supporting parents. Families deserve clarity—not confusion—when navigating IEPs, learning disabilities, behavior needs, and school communication. When a family feels supported, the student thrives.

Background

I bring a uniquely blended background in special education, instructional design, behavior intervention, and engineering—giving me the ability to understand both the emotional and analytical sides of student learning.

My experience includes:

  • Licensed Special Education Teacher (Cross-Categorical Resource)

  • Extensive training in the Science of Reading, LETRS, Letterland and Recipe for Reading

  • Years of experience supporting students with ADHD, dyslexia, ASD, executive-function delays, and behavior needs

  • Collaboration with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff

  • Data-driven instruction and progress monitoring

  • Supervising instructional assistants and leading student-support teams

  • A technical foundation in engineering that sharpens my systems-thinking, problem-solving, and instructional planning

This combined expertise allows me to design learning strategies that are structured, evidence-based, and highly individualized.

Our Approach

At NeuroLearn Consulting, I use a whole-child, strengths-based approach that supports not only academic skills but also executive functioning, behavior regulation, and self-confidence.

Personalized Learning Strategies

Each student receives a customized plan that reflects their learning needs, processing style, and disability profile. We focus on how to learn, not just what to learn.

Evidence-Based Practices

All instruction is grounded in research-based methods—including Orton-Gillingham, the Science of Reading, explicit instruction, scaffolded practice, and cognitive strategy instruction.

Executive Function Coaching

Students learn practical tools for planning, organizing, working independently, time management, and reducing overwhelm.

Collaboration With Families

Parents receive clear guidance, resources, and support so they can help their child at home and navigate school systems with confidence.

Warm, Supportive, Judgment-Free Care

Above all, every student and family is met with empathy, patience, and respect. Neurodiverse learners deserve a space where they feel understood and valued.
